FAQ

Twelve questions we are asked before the intro.

Hours, fees, groups, injuries, and what to bring. If your question is not here, send the enquiry form and a coach will reply within one working day.

What happens in the intro session?

The intro lasts 45 minutes and costs S$80. We take a short training history, watch squat, hinge, press, and carry with a light load, and write a first-block outline while you are still in the room. You leave with a recommended format, a weekly frequency, and a fee. Nothing heavy is loaded that day. If you start a pack within 14 days, the S$80 is credited against it.

Do I need to be experienced before I join?

No. Beginner foundations is built for people who have not trained under a coach, or who want to rebuild the basics after a long gap. One-to-one and small-group also take beginners after an intro. We will not put you on a loaded bar until the screen says the position can be repeated. If you already train, bring a note of the loads you have been using; we will still screen rather than copy the last programme on your phone.

How do small groups work if everyone has a different plan?

The hour is shared; the block is not. Four people, one coach, four programmes. The coach sequences the racks so two people are not waiting on the same bar. Your loads, accessories, and constraints stay on your sheet. The group exists so you keep a slot and see familiar faces. If you want the whole hour of a coach’s attention, one-to-one is the better format.

I have a recent injury. Can I still train?

Strongerdailylife is not a medical or physiotherapy service. If you have a diagnosed condition or a recent injury, get written clearance from your doctor or clinician before we load anything. Return-to-load is the format we use after that note arrives. We work inside the clearance. We do not diagnose, treat, or replace clinical care.

What does remote programming include?

A four-week written file, a weekly check-in by e-mail or a short call, and substitutions if you are in a hotel gym. The intro can be in person or by video. Remote programming does not include live sessions on Tyrwhitt Road; those are billed at the published one-to-one rate if you visit. It is a poor fit while an injury is still under clinical care.

How do workplace programmes get booked?

Send a brief: site, likely headcount, room, and whether you want on-site mobility, reserved studio hours, or a screening day. We reply within two working days with a one-page scope and a fee. Nothing is dated until that page is agreed. Invoices go to the organisation. Individual staff are not charged at the door.

What are the session rates?

Intro S$80. One-to-one S$190 per session, or S$2,040 for a 12-pack. Small-group S$88, or S$900 for a 12-pack. Beginner foundations S$1,120 for eight weeks. Remote programming S$260 per four-week file. Return-to-load uses one-to-one rates after clearance. Full notes sit on the membership page. Workplace work is quoted from a brief.

What is the cancellation rule?

Move a session with 12 hours’ notice and we will look for another slot in the same week. Later than 12 hours, or a no-show, counts as used. If we cancel — illness on our side, or the floor closed — the session goes back on your pack. Foundations cohorts cannot be paused once they start. Remote files are not refundable after they have been sent.

Where are you, and what are the hours?

38 Tyrwhitt Road, #02-01, Singapore 207539, in Jalan Besar. Farrer Park and Lavender MRT are a short walk. Monday to Friday 06:30–21:00, Saturday 07:30–14:00, Sunday closed except for workplace bookings agreed in writing. Street parking is limited; City Square Mall is the nearest car park we send people to.

What should I bring?

Indoor training shoes, a towel, and a water bottle if you prefer your own. Filtered water is on the floor. Wear clothing you can squat and hinge in. Chalk is provided; liquid chalk only. There is a shower. If you use a strap, sleeve, or belt, bring it — we do not require them in the first weeks.

Do you offer open-gym memberships or drop-in classes?

No. The floor is booked sessions with a coach, plus intro appointments. There is no class board and no unstaffed access. That is how we keep four people in a group and still log every working set. If you want a 24-hour gym, another facility will fit better.

How soon will you reply to an enquiry?

Within one working day. A coach will offer two times for an intro session. If your note mentions an injury or a condition, we will ask for written clearance before we book a loaded session. You can also call +65 6291 4738 during opening hours.
